mul''Erû'' or mul''Arû'' is the Akkadian name for the constellation of The Eagle, Sumerian: [[TE8.mušen|TE8/TI8. (sign A2)]], 'eagle' in this context at times, perhaps for any large generic predator bird, for example, a vulture. This constellation is typically identified with the Greek and the modern constellation of [[Aquila]], The Eagle.
