You can only edit the encyclopaedia with an account granted by the owner (Susanne M Hoffmann).

Want to contribute?

• Login with the "login" at the upper right corner,
• click "Edit" and start writing.

Editing is easy:

• With the menu in the visual editor, you can control the layout (e.g. specify headlines of various level, bold/italic font etc.), create links inside and outside this encyclopaedia...
• add citations: "Basic" mode (for now only this possible)
• create numbered and unnumbered lists
• Insert images and image galleries, tables, formulas and other,
• insert special characters from other alphabets (all Unicode).

Inserting Images

Please use the "Upload file" option at the right sidebar menu!

With this, you can specify a licence for your file easily. Your options are "CC 0 " and "CC BY"; we don't offer more.

Patterns

When you create a page (just type the title in the browser line after /index.php/ and click "create"), please use one of the "Patterns" to get the basic structure (headlines) of the article. Due to specific requirements in different cultures, we specified variants, but in general we appreciate unity in format as this can be more easily queried by astronomical software (such as Stellarium).
