mulNaṣrapu (𒀯𒈾𒊍𒊏𒁍) is an ancient Mesopotamian asterism, a group of stars in the constellation Perseus [Gössmann[1] 296; AHw[2], 757a; CAD[3] N/1, 51a]. It is a ziqpu-star, between the Old Man and the Crook, but the sense of the name if it is in regard to the shape of the asterism is uncertain. The number of stars in this asterism is alternatively given as 6 or 2 (see Fincke-Horowitz 2017: ??PAGE N NEEDED?? ). We would follow the total of 6 which appears in the most reliable source (VAT 16436), and so suggest the cluster of mostly 4th magnitude stars behind the Old Man in the direction of the Crook.
