dIM (𒀭𒅎), Sumerian Iškur = Akkadian Adad. The IM-sign is the pictogram for 'wind' and is used throughout the Ancient Near East for the name of the storm-god. In Mesopotamia this is Ishkur = Adad, but also Canaanaite (H)addu/(H)adad, also known by his epithet Ba'al ('The Lord') as in the Bible, and Hittite/Hurian Teshub.
