dZapānītu (𒀭𒇡𒉺𒉌𒌈) is an ancient Mesopotamian asterism.
Concordance, Etymology, History[1]
= the goddess Zarpānītu (formerly transcribed as dṢarpānītum), consort of Marduk, identified with the constellation A.EDIN "Branch" (see Kurtik a02) and apparently with Venus.
