Concordance, Etymology, History

Kurtik with Hilder, Hoffmann, Horowitz, Kim

Non-standard designation of the zodiac sign Leo in the "Calendar-Ritual Text" W 22619/9+ instead of UR.A [SpTU III[1], 105:1]; scribal error, probably related to Akkadian nēšu(UR.MAḪ) "lion" [CAD[2] N/2, 193ff.] or to the name of the 5th month of the Babylonian calendar itiNE(?).

Historical Dictionaries

Kurtik (2022, n11) Gössmann (1950)
Example
