dGAL.A.RU.RU (Great Aruru) is a name for the goddess Ištar of the Stars, namely Venus: An astral manifestation of the Venus-type goddess Aruru (Black 2005).[1]

Aruru, the ancient mother goddess responsible for the birth and fate of people, the name is present already in the early lists of the gods, see. [MНM I,[2] 109; Tallqvist 1938, 256, 309; Weidner 1924-25, 78, Kol. 7:1].
