Ramajay

Ramajay is an IAU name for an exoplanet. Its host star is Dingolay in the constellation of Leo. Suggested by the country of Trinidad and Tobago, it follows the name theme Lingo associated with music and carnival festivities of Trinidad and Tobago.

Etymology and History

Ramajay means to sing and make music in a steelpan style, representing the love of culture and languages of the ancestors of the people of Trinidad and Tobago.

IAU Working Group on Star Names

The name was adopted by the IAU WGSN in the 20xx NameExoWorlds Campaign (NEWC).
