Mintome

Mintome is an IAU name for an exoplanet. Its host star is Itonda in the constellation of Grus. Suggested by the country of Gabon, it follows the name theme Terms and places associated with beauty and unity vernacular languages of Gabon.

Etymology and History

Mintome, in the Fang tongue, is a mythical land where a brotherhood of brave men live.

IAU Working Group on Star Names

The name was adopted by the IAU WGSN in the 20xx NameExoWorlds Campaign (NEWC).
