Kaewkosin

Kaewkosin is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Thai. It is the name of HIPIntegerPart[] (, GJ 3470) in constellation Cnc.
Etymology and History
Kaewkosin (แก้วโกสินทร์) refers to the crystals of the Hindu deity Indra in the Thai language, alluding to the ancient belief that the stars were gemstones.
