Halla

Halla is an IAU name for an exoplanet. Its host star is Baekdu in the constellation of Ursa Minor. Suggested by the country of South Korea, it follows the name theme Sacred peaks of Korea and symbols of peace and spirituality among the Korean people.

Halla is the highest mountain in South Korea and is regarded as a sacred place in the region.
