Filetdor

Filetdor is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Catalan. It is the name of HIPIntegerPart[] (, WASP-166) in constellation Hya.

Etymology and History

"Filet d'Or" refers to a golden sea serpent, the protagonist in the Mallorcan folktale (rondalla) "Na Filet d'Or".
