Cuptor

Cuptor is an IAU name for an exoplanet. Its host star is Diya in the constellation of Fornax. Suggested by the country of Mauritius, it follows the name theme Terms associated with light and heat used in Mauritius.

Etymology and History

Cuptor is a thermally insulated chamber used for baking or drying substances, that has long disappeared in Mauritius and has been replaced by more sophisticated ovens.

The name was adopted by the IAU WGSN in the 20xx NameExoWorlds Campaign (NEWC).
