Babylonia

Babylonia is an IAU name for an exoplanet. Its host star is Uruk in the constellation of Sagitta. Suggested by the country of Iraq, it follows the name theme Names of ancient cities and kingdoms associated with Bronze Age Mesopotomia in Iraq.
Etymology and History
Babylonia was a key kingdom in ancient Mesopotamia from the 18th to 6th centuries BC whose name-giving capital city was built on the Euphrates river.

The name was adopted by the IAU WGSN in the 20xx NameExoWorlds Campaign (NEWC).
