Hikoboshi and Orihime

ひこぼし(hikoboshi) means "the male star", it is the common name of the star alpha Aquilae in Japan.

IAU Working Group Star Names

The name was discussed and approved by the IAU WGSN in 2023. Since alpha is already named Altair, we choose this star (next to alpha) for placing the traditional name.
