Sualocin is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Latin. It is the name of HIP 101958 (α Del, HR 7906) in constellation Del.

Reversal of the Latinized name Nicolaus Venator, responsible for 1814 star catalogue.
