Chason

Chasoň is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Slovakian. It is the name of the star HAT-P-5 in constellation Lyr.

Etymology and History

Chasoň is an ancient Slovak term for Sun.
