Naqaỹa is an IAU name for an exoplanet. Its host star is Nosaxa in the constellation of Puppis. Suggested by the country of Argentina, it follows the name theme Terms associated with the relationship between sky, life cycles, and the human community as family, as provided by a teacher and leader of the Moqoit Indigenous People of northern Argentina.

Etymology and History

Naqaỹa means brother-family-relative in the Moqoit language and leads us to call all humans, indigenous or non-indigenous, brother.
