Indépendance is an IAU name for an exoplanet. Its host star is Citadelle in the constellation of Pisces. Suggested by the country of Haiti, it follows the name theme Terms associated with the Citadelle Laferrière UNESCO World Heritage Site and early history of the Republic of Haiti.

Etymology and History

Indépendance is named after the Haitian Declaration of Independence on 1 January 1804, when Haiti became the first independent black republic.
