Eiger is an IAU name for an exoplanet. Its host star is Mönch in the constellation of Virgo. Suggested by the country of Switzerland, it follows the name theme Prominent peaks in the Jungfrau-Aletsch Region of the Swiss Alps, the first Alpine UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.
