Bocaprins

Bocaprins is an IAU name for an exoplanet. Its host star is Malmok in the constellation of Virgo. Suggested by the country of Aruba, it follows the name theme Names associated with notable beaches of Aruba.

Etymology and History

Boca Prins is a secluded beach with white dunes and iconic scenery situated in Arikok National Park along the northeast coast of Aruba. It is named after Plantation Prins where coconuts were cultivated in the past.

IAU Working Group on Star Names

The name was adopted by the IAU WGSN in the 20xx NameExoWorlds Campaign (NEWC).
