Awasis

Awasis is an IAU name for an exoplanet. Its host star is Nikawiy in the constellation of Bootes. Suggested by the country of Canada, it follows the name theme Names of family members in the indigenous Cree language of Canada.

The name was adopted by the IAU WGSN in the 20xx NameExoWorlds Campaign (NEWC).
