Sika

Sika is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Ewe. It is the name of HIP 95262 (HD 181720) in constellation Sgr.

Etymology and History

Sika means gold in the Ewe language and gold is one of Ghana's principal exports.
