Sāmaya is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Sinhalese. It is the name of HIP 106824 (HD 205739) in constellation PsA.

Etymology and History

Sāmaya means peace in the Sinhalese language.
