Koit is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Estonian. It is the name of the star XO-4 in constellation Lyn.

Etymology and History

Koit is Estonian for the time when the Sun rises in the morning (dawn).
