Aldhibah is a modern star name adopted by the International Astronomical Union in the IAU-Catalog of Star Names (IAU-CSN). Its origin is Arabic. It is the name of HIP 83895 (ζ Dra, HR 6396) in constellation Dra.
Etymology and History
ζ and η Draconis together had been considered the asterism of الذئب, al-dhiʼb, Two Hyenas or Two Wolves that are lurking for the Camel's Foal that is protected by its mother (other stars in Draco).
Mythology

The name was adopted by the IAU WGSN on 2017/09/05.
