The All Skies Encyclopaedia is a project set up as an initiative of the IAU Working Group on Star Names and the Austrian Academy of Science with gentle support by the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Jena with the Michael Stifel Center Jena (Germany) and the University of Science and Technology of China (Hefei).
