dEN.MUL is a Mesopotamian primordial ancestor deity who might be thought of as the original prototype of later asterisms in the completed universe. [[put in the same for NIN.MUL]]

Dictionary

"Lord Star"; together with dNIN.MUL "Lady Star" forms a pair with the ancestors of Enlil in the divine genealogies [G. 325; Lambert 1975, 51; Tallqvist 1938, 304].
