         The natural symbol of the constellation Arrow is the arrow. This is how the figure of the constellation was thought of until recently; see, for example, [Waerden 1949, 16; 1974, 74]. The image of the arrow is found on the Planisphere in sector 0, where the name of Dumuzi is associated with it [Koch 1989, 56, 59; Kurtik 2007, fig. 9]. However, in the GU-text the constellation is described as an anthropomorphic figure, which has an "elbow" and a "left leg". Стрела была связана с Нинуртой, воинственным божеством, героем целого ряда мифов. III. Символ.

Естественный символ созвездия Стрела ― это стрела. Именно таким образом мыслилась фигура созвездия до недавнего времени; см., например, [Waerden 1949, 16; 1974, 74]. Изображение стрелы встречаем на «Планисфере» в секторе 0, где с нею связано имя Думузи [Koch 1989, 56, 59; Куртик 2007, рис. 9]. Однако в GU-тексте созвездие описывается как антропоморфная фигура, у которой имеются «локоть» и «левая нога». Вероятно, лук и лучник включались иногда в фигуру созвездия [Pingree–Walker 1988, 316, note 1; ASM, 271]; возражения против подобной интерпретации см. [Koch 1992, 56; 1995, 59, Anm. 16].
